Song: ChrisTref - TukTuk
Yes, I knew I was on to something. You are country music. Russian country music, which is somewhat unique, at least around here. The chords are a combination of dance-pop and country. So, in US heartland you might have a chance of hitting a nerve. That also translates to family American family entertainment -- such as, I could see this song playing in the movie 'The Lion King' or any of the dozens of offshoot films that dynamo film has inspired over the past 15 years. You would have to sing it in English, though. The vocal arrangements are also nice. And the synthesizer sounds/parts are nice. This one is an "almost" on a number of different levels. I would def be interested in seeing it progress to the pro level. For example, what name would you give it if the director of Lion King asked you to rewrite the lyrics?

You know, all of your material has a sweetness to it. Undoubtedly a result of your unadulterated locale. Unfortunately, urban disco dance style requires a more sophisticated air to be considerable, no? The mesmerizing piano figure shows promise. Unfortunately, we are not given enough syncopation in the rest of the record to award this one with honors. The vox melodies & synthesizers are so stiff, rhythmically that I wasn't able to focus on the lyrics. What is the name of the song? My instinct is to say "next" except for those groovy bg vox in the beginning. Positively satanic. Which, you know, for a club mix is always a good thing. It just doesn't really dance much. Maybe it's a country club mix... ? =) Personally, I prefer the big city sound. I will refrain from rating this one. Please feel free to discard this comment, if you wish.

Song: ChrisTref - Obsession
Yes well, the B section needs work, doesn't it. You really must get a better piano sound for your ballads. Or better, I would play it for you with my better piano sound. But I songwriting needs work so, would only first want to work with you, one on one, finishing the song. Including re-writing the B section and adding a bridge and an instrumental solo section etc. that would include better string/piano parts etc. Your voice is as lovely as ever. Who would have thought that a little Russian country girl could sing American pop ballad style so well...

Song: ChrisTref - Sweet dreams
Good choice of tempo (slower than original). The acoustic guitar figure is interesting, but it needs to have better tones; perhaps doubled/effects, synthesizer etc The gypsy styled scatting in between stanzas is EXCELLENT. With that touch you have created a first class version of this old standby. Go with that: more. Take it out with that kind of vocal improvising and then add more improvising, with instruments. I would definitely be interesting in arranging/producing/recording this one for you. It is an automatic winner. No publishing royalties though, of course. ;-|

Song: ChrisTref - Time Machine
With all due respect to the producer, this song needs better synthesizers parts. I would be happy to provide that, if you wish. Your voice reminds me of Madonna on this one.

Your voice reminds me, immediately, to "Everything but the girl", inclusive the cool beats. I like the Jazzy part as well in this track.
If you don't know "Everything but a girl", I see you are from Russia, you really should take a listen. I'm curious what is still coming from you.
This is nice!

I really like the unusual groove of this one.
I agree with Joe Hill there. Christina, Paradox-Babilon, I love that one sung in Russian because it is composed music (melody, chords, vocal inflections) that has a distinct Russian Gypsy feeling. But, without understanding this one it's difficult to know if I like it so much. I love the Chorus melody. I think it has hit potential. Your voice is distinctive on that kind of Euro-styled melody. Definitely a dark feeling (even without understanding the words) which makes me think it might work in a film because it creates a specific mood. Your voice is always nice, and that is what saves these rough mixes. It makes us want to hear what you would sound like in full production.
