Hard rock, powerful ballads and overall fun stuff. I just like to play some power chords, throw in some drums, crank up a bass and rock out.

Well, this is pretty much a one-man-band type thing. With the creation of this page means I actually finished an EP. It's part of the genre known as Wizard Rock, which is basically music based on the Harry Potter series. It's really awesome, and for some great music its an awesome thing to listen to. Well, for a one member band, I kinda play everything, even vocals (Unfortunately, lol) Anything you hear is either played by me or the computer. Usually I just find or create my own preset drum pattern from my pedal, piano or computer, but I do play all guitars and piano, even the banjo on some things. It's a fairly long but cool process creating an entire band from one person, but I loved it. Hopefully I'll have more stuff out soon.
Band/artist history
It began awhile back, maybe a few months ago (from March 2008). I think late November of 2007 I was introduced to the genre of wizard rock. After listening for awhile, I began to truly appreciate all of it, so I started thinking, why couldn't I be a band. I've played music since I was like 10 or 11, so I got to work on some stuff. Initially I worked on an acoustic version of Hedwig's Theme (the Harry Potter theme basically) and I released it under the name of The Half-Moon Spectacle. Immediately I regretted that, because a) I didn't like the quality, b) I didn't like the name, and c) I wanted to do something else. After already setting myself up on Wizrocklopedia, I felt incredibly bad. So I withdrew, basically rewriting and coming up with some of my own material. I began recording again after December 2007, and I finally finished up a 7-song EP in March of 2008, and then I set up a Soundclick account and here I am.
Your musical influences
Mostly classic rock, hard stuff like AC/DC, Led Zeppelin, Boston, Grand Funk Railroad. Anything that really came out of that time-frame of rock. My biggest influence for my first EP is definitely Jet, who is in turn influenced greatly by said bands. I love anything that really rocks, so I hope that my music reveals that.
What equipment do you use?
A Digitech RP250 pedal, a Roland G synthesizer, a Yamaha keyboard and a Line 6 Toneport with Gearbox. I do all recording with Audacity, and I have a crappy mikestand and a spectacular Behringer microphone. I use a Yamaha acoutic guitar and mostly a Squire Telecaster guitar, occasionally an Ibanez electric.
