t's me. Micah (Mic) Schaffer. I'm not gonna act like someone wrote a book about me, because they haven't. I live the book. So all of this is done by myself. Anyway, most of you may know me as Theo's litttle brother and he does cast a pretty big shadow, but within the next year I tend to develop my own shadow. I love music and it's a very big part of my life. I can say now, I sing in church for God and not for anyone else, and I also do this contemporary music ministry on the side. It is a ministry, because what I plan to do is use the gifts God gave me (rapping, singing, writing lyrics and arranging songs) for His glory and to draw people (young and old) to Christ. I would rather my music not be labeled under "Holy Hip-Hop" because I'm not like the people who do label their music that way (and don't get it twisted, I'm not condemning anyone or saying I won't associate with them or anything like that, I just think that my music is more different). I'm 21 years old, and I've been rapping since I was eight years old making mixtapes from instrumentals that I made myself. I got saved (repented, baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, and received the precious gift of the Holy Spirit) when I was 15 years old. Hence the name for my upcoming mixtape/demo- the Rescue: 3.29.02. I live my life free in Christ and love every minute of it and I encourage anyone who feels a void in their life to just go ahead and try God because nothing else will work. Correct me if I'm wrong also, but I think I'm the first to rep the Apostle's Doctrine in Christian Rap (that's my genre by the way). On the mixtape you'll hear me sing, rap and minister the Word of God like never before, but not conformed or transformed into an ear-tickling message. I give it unadulterated, raw and ready for you to receive. I'm just a guy trying to make it. So show some love, leave comments and I'll be sure to get back to ya.
