Iron Thorn is the brainchild of Chris Richardson longtime northwest metal guitarist..with drummer Marv Bauer and bassist Paul Galla we are developing into a true power trio.
We have been writing and recording for a few months now and are ready to start gigging in the Portland area.
with decades of influences we're calling this "classic american metal" for lack of a better term and have so far been well recieved by the Portland Metal community.Band/artist history
Chris played all through the 80"s and early 90's with Tear Zero moving from Spokane Wa. to Portland in '86 with members who went on to form bands like Sweaty Nipples and 90 Proof...Marv played with Mirror Mirror a local cover band and more recently with Identity Zero...Paul played with Raging Angel(Chris too at different times under a different name) and Motorbreath a northwest Metallica tribute.Have you performed in front of an audience?Can't wait for our 1st gig!!!!playing live IS the reward...
