Heavy Metal

Well, I'm Chris Ruble, the Lead Guitarist from the central Ohio Heavy Metal band, Curtain of Blood. I don't like our band name, but at the time our bass player picked it, no one else had it that we knew of, so we kept. We are heavily influenced by bands such as Lamb of God, Metallica, Korn, All That Remains, Through The Eyes Of The Dead, KillWhitneyDead, and such as those.
Band/artist history
Formed in 2006, Nick and Chris Ruble started writing and producing mp3's. Chris playing guitar, Nick doing the death-grunt style vocals. Around the start of 2007, David Vincent was added as another guitar player. Joshua Moore was playing bass at the time, using a drum machine at practices. They got rid of Josh, and Nick started playing bass. He was recording bass and vocals, but never planned to do both live. Chris, Nick, and David found drummer Nate McKee. They started playing with him, and added Baron Brower on vocals. Nick no longer recorded vocals. David sold his guitars to put the down payment on his Thunderbird, which was Repoed, so he couldn't play anymore. Kyle Stowers tried out for second guitarist, but didn't fit. Ryan Funk started playing with them. The current lineup is as follows. Baron Brower-Vocals Chris Ruble-Gutiars Ryan Funk-Guitars Nick Ruble-Bass Nate McKee-Drums
Have you performed in front of an audience?
We do play live, so far only once though. It was only a birthday gig, but it was honestly, pretty metal.
