yea that's was I was thinking....it'd just be a website for us...to upload absolutely anything we think might have the slightest value....it seems we can't set the band page to private....so I guess we might get random people finding the site...would that be a problem?...but you can sign up your own new account [band or listener] and add yourself as a member in the "band administration" section and set that to private. So you can comment from your own username.
but yea, all music will be public....but I wasn't planning on telling people about the site.
p.s. newfunkorder is apparently our first fan!!! get in!!!
My comments are: The MP3's we upload on here are available to everyone. Meaning that little riffs and stuff would be a bit random to upload. Is this correct? Or is it the case that noone will ever really look on the site so we can load whatever we like up? and who is New funk order??
Also... Do you know of any way we can have separate accounts, but all be able to access and update the brighton road collective site? Just for clarity.

Good job Bob... I like the addition of the words and chords on the song pages too.
I'm obviously very happy practicing at my house, with no need to bug anyone for lifts! Plus we can play there pretty much when we want, without the need for bringing too much extra equipment, if any.
As for the recording, I guess it doesn't matter too much yet what purpose it will serve. I think its more about getting another couple of practices under our belt and then getting to a stage where we've got 8/10 songs that we can comfortably play together.
yo!
Welcome to the brighton collective hub!!!
Yea, I'm happy practicing at Steve's house. Brookside could work too...but I dunno about neighbours and sound restrictions...or if we'd even be allowed?
and Sunday afternoons could work nicely for me...I work thu 3-8pm and sat 10-7pm, but anytime around that I'm flexible.
I'm happy to go with the recording to start off with....but my questions would be; what will this recording look like? i.e. Are we trying to create a work of art, like a proper album with beginning middle end etc. You know, like a little original achievment that includes personal tastes from everyone, that we can be proud of.....kind of thing!?!? Or are we creating a demo that we can give to club owners etc to get gigs? or somewhere in between perhaps?!? what would be its purpose?
hmm...yea
