I Wish You'd Leave Me I Wish You'd Leave Me
This is a rather funny country music song about a guy that's fed up with his wife and wants her to LEAVE!

After All These Years After All These Years
I wrote this song for my wife on our 23rd wedding anniversary.
I have been playing the piano and singing since I was thirteen years of age. My primary choice of music is southern gospel, but in the past four years I have been playing piano for a local country music band and I really enjoy it. I've written a few songs and produce my own CDs in my home recording studio.
Band/artist history
I love southern gospel music, and Ive been playing piano and singing since I was about thirteen. I guess it all started the first time I heard Martha Carson singing "Satisfied" from a 78rpm record. That was many years ago and long before the age of thirteen. My mother also played guitar and sang when I was a child. The first few songs I remember hearing mama sing were Take Up Thy Cross, I Need No Mansion Here, and Heaven Will Surely Be Worth it All. We lived only a few miles from the Lewis Family of Lincolnton, Georgia. My desire to learn to play piano began with Polly Lewis at the piano singing with her sisters, Miggie and Janice, and her youngest brother, Little Roy. They could sing the house down with "My Lord Will Lead Me Home." Next, it was the Statesmen, Blackwoods, LeFevres, Speers, and of course, the Happy Goodmans.
In the early 1950s when the LeFevres began appearing on television, I loved watching Eva Mae play. Polly Lewis and Eva Mae LeFevre were my inspiration to learn to play piano. I wanted to take lessons while in junior high school, but my parents could not afford it. Eventually a Church of God minister and an accomplished pianist came to our church looking for students who wanted to learn to play piano. After taking about six lessons from him, he moved away to pastor another church. The rest of my training came about through learning to play by ear and being a member of the high school chorus, as well as playing piano and singing at my church.
Southern Gospel is very special music to me. It can add a little fire to an old-fashioned hymn. Many folks call Southern Gospel music "happy music." And its just that! On a day when I dont feel my best, I can play gospel music on the stereo, and in a few minutes I have forgotten all about not feeling so good. I will always love, sing and play southern gospel music. But I also enjoy singing and playing the old familiar country music tunes.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
I enjoy playing every other week at a local music hall with a country music band. We do most of the old country tunes.
What equipment do you use?
All of my recordings today I create at home on my PC. I have a KORG X2 keyboard, a Yamaha PSR293 keyboard, a KAWAI acoustic studio piano, Behringer mixer, Shure SM57 microphone, a Creative Labs Audigy 2ZS sound card, a stash of cables and adapters for most every purpose. Software that I use includes PowerTracks Pro Audio, Band-in-a-Box, Goldwave, Audacity, and several other utilities for mastering and post-processing. Quite often I will choose to have a company duplicate quantities of CDs for me. I design all the cover art for the CD inserts and they are processed and duplicated by an Atlanta-based duplication service.
