I am still just starting out. Even though I have been making music for 2 years (with nothing completely finished or started). Fortunately I have many books and an amazing teacher(that is unknowingly helping me advance) that is making me better at what I love and want to do.Have you performed in front of an audience?Nope, i am a very new artist.
Your musical influences
One of the most influential musical people that I know is Imogen Heap. She has inspired me to be an artist myself. There were other people and singers that were pushing me in that direction, but Imogen shoved me towards that direction.
Other influences are from instruments like the piano, the cello (which I want to learn how to play), and various other instruments.What equipment do you use?
I use this digital audio workstation that can be used as a scratchpad for awesome ideas or just to produce completely mastered tracks that are ready for publication! Haah! Perfect!
I just got this new small instrument called a thumb piano. At the moment it is of no use to me because it only has seven keys (which are all tuned funny).Heh...
Another instrument that I use whenever I feel like it is my really old keyboard. Old as in 7-9 years old. Yea, and it still works perfectly fine. Eventually I am going to get a MIDI cable to plug it into my computer so it will be easier for me to make music.
I also have a guitar that I can't rock out with because I have no clue how to play the guitar. I have tried, but with no luck. Trying to self teach yourself is hard business. (besides I have weak fingers.)
Something else new that I got is this AMAZING microphone. Yea, it is amazing. I also have these headphones (which are actually old) that arent that good because I have to almost mute everything when I do record. My microphone is AMAZING! =DAnything else?
Even though I havent made my mark yet I have been very picky with what I decide to keep. 90% of all my work has gone down the drain. Up until now am I really staring to work hard at being a musician/singer/artist.Contact
