Dru Daddy, born and raised in Orlando, Florida, commonly known as ?The City Beautiful?. An accurate statement to anyone who is not familiar with the unforgiving central city streets. The Parramore neighborhood frequently stands out as one of the highest crime areas in the city. This is home to Dru Daddy.
In his teens, Dru Daddy then known as Darkside, spent all his free time writing hooks and bars for any beat he could find. After teaming together with several other upcoming artist Dru began to build a buzz for himself. First heard on the underground stations throughout central Florida as a featured artist on tracks such as "Ready for War," "Everythang," and "Life Flashes." In spite of the buzz and connections, Dru was blinded by several bad situations and was unable to pursue his career with the dedication needed.
Time would prove that old habits die hard as the desire to grace beats with his steady mellow flow grew stronger. Over the years, Dru honed his craft and believes his unique outlook on life reflected through his rhymes will do a lot more than turn a few heads.
