Every One of Us Every One of Us
The aim was for a british invasion early 90s rock and roll sound thanks to an old early seventies Marshall pedal purchased for six dollars.
There Once Was Never A Time There Once Was Never A Time
This is an acoustic tune with percussion thanks to an old Gretch set and piccolo snare, accompanied with a bluesy guitar..
Jesse Carter is a Cleveland based singer/songwriter who has been playing music since the age of eleven. Major influences include Noel Gallagher of Oasis, Neil Young, and Beck. Jesse writes almost all of his own material, and is always listening to a modern British rock and roll band or singer/songwriter from the 60s or 70s to help spark his creativity.
Currently, Jesse is working on his eighth full length with songs about experiences over the summer of 2006. He mixes, produces, and writes all the songs, also playing all the instruments himself. Usually, he writes the music first and adds lyrics later, and mostly uses vintage tools for his sounds. Some of those tools include a Marshall shred master pedal used in the early seventies that was just six dollars.
"When you're driving on a scorchering summer day and you get the chills by listening to your favorite tune--that's why I love music", he says. "It's not about how well you play or how much you know when it comes to music--'Sweet Home Alabama' has just three chords."
Jesse mostly plays small venues and coffee shops now...with his live acoustic loops and retro sounding vocal melodies, he's bound to grab the attention of those who believe music can save lives. He's played at venues like Generations, The Enclave, and Cyber Pete's. Jesse Carter has also been the drummer for bands like The Gypsy Gibsons, and The Splits.
