Twenty-one year old Braska. was born and raised in Queens Bridge New York, and grew up in the same neighborhood with now label owner Ron Artest, but don't get it twisted; Braska has more than paid his dues. While in New York, the struggling artist worked with several independent music labels, and put his work in on the road as well, touring independently from state to state.
Though he may not have known it then, his hard work was soon about to pay-off after a chance encounter with old neighborhood friend Ron Artest. During the unplanned reunion, Braska passed a demo of thirty songs off to Artest, who was then trying to his own record label off the ground. Not expecting to get any payment for the thirty tracks he let Artest keep them free of charge. Artest put the tracks onto a mix tape, and Braska's notoriety soared. Realizing that Braska was talented, Artest signed him to his fledgling label Tru Warier Records.
in the summer of 2006 braska toured and was the opening act on joung jeezy and mack-10's summer freeze tour. And also was the opening act on fat joes european tour, which hit 8 different countries. braska has appeared on smack, spot tv and the come up hip hop dvds. and is featured on countless mixtapes thru-out the country.
Though he is a rapper, Braska realizes the importance of having mass appeal. He says some of his many influences (which include BIG, Dr. Dre, Jay Z and R Kelly) taught him the importance of being diverse in appeal which he feels will eventually lead to the longevity he craves in his career. It is obvious that this lesson he has kept in mind with his two recently release singles "Creepin", and Your Body" which are obvious appeals to the ladies. But fellas don't fret; Braska hasn't forgotten about you. He says he has songs on the album that will appeal to you as well.
