My name is Patrick Woods, and I'm a solo guitarist that plays instrumental fingerstyle guitar music. If my page looks kind of generic at the moment, that's because I'm new to this site, and I'm still trying to figure out how to use it!(I'm a slow learner) I promise it will look better in the future. My main influences are people like Michael Hedges, Preston Reed, Alex DeGrassi.......you get the idea. In general, my performances are divided between two different instruments.
My main axe is a Wechter six-string Acoustic, and my second guitar is a ten-string treble bass(a ten string electric where you play both bass and guitar at the same time). I play gigs very frequently, and in 2006 won 2nd place in guitar Player magazine's "Guitar Hero" contest in San Francisco. I hope you enjoy what you hear.Have you performed in front of an audience?YES! I play anywhere I can. Coffehouses, private parties, concert halls, clubs, weddings, divoraces, temporary estrangements......ect.
