Delores Holmes and her daughter have been singing on the Jersey Shore years, as session and background vocalists for all types of bands from hard rock to blues. Delores is a former backup singer for the Bruce Springsteen Band and the two are also a part of The Shirleys party band and the charitable Holiday Express.
Dee and Layonne had always wanted to start their own project and found the perfect compliment in soprano Debbie Vaughn. Rain was born when the three realized how well they blended and the musical tastes they shared. The band is completed by some great Shore players on keyboard, bass, guitar, drums, and percussion.
