As a child growing up Tony Cruz always had an entrepreneurial mind set. Tone was influenced by music since he was able to hear. He got his first keyboard and drum set when he was 4 years old. Tony grew up listening to all types of music genres from all over the world. Quote: “ Being open minded to music helped me to grow a passion to understand the meaning of music’s unique sounds.” At the age of 14 T Cruz had found help in buying his first set of turntables and started to DJ from the 8th grade (1998) up until 2006. Tony was also a DJ for a local rock band which TCruz did all the background scratching/sound effects, and played the keyboard. Being a DJ of all music genres helped Tony develop a unique ear for music. Quote: “I had to really pay attention to the music and the beat to get the right timing in order to make the right mixes. The first hustle that I learned to make money from was music”. From middle school all the way to high school T Cruz used to teach people how to dance and even got paid to choreograph an up & coming pop artist. T sold mix cd’s and started to DJ all types of events. Quote: I remember when I used to walk into events that I used to DJ and all the grown people used to look at me like I was a joke. I was so young and yet I was spinning great music at Weddings. At the end of every night I remember people used to walk up to me and compliment, recommend, and tip me well". “It was legal, I loved it, and I made good money at a young age doing it. From that moment on, I knew I wanted to make people dance and feel good through music and at the same time I was going to make Millions doing it."
With less then one year of experience in the producing game, Tony is now passing the stage of spinning records that made people dance, to now creating the records that will make people dance. At 22 Tony Cruz is now working on his third and long awaited business venture, which is developing a Record Label/Production Company that will deliver a unique & diverse sound in the music industry. T Cruz also owns two other business's: one being in the concert entertainment industry, and the other in the real estate/home improvement industry. If you know Tony, you can really see the determination to be wealthy and successful in anything he works hard at. T Cruz is working towards turning his intelligence into creative ideas delivering music hits with a great team of talented supporters and many more to come in the near future.
