The Pledge Part 1 The Pledge Part 1
Our experimental metal song. It has the nuances of prog-metal, sound of alternative metal, high-pitched falsetto wails, backup growls similar to those in Swedish death metal, spoken words, shredding guitar solo and funky slap bass solo.

Weird Sounding Break Up Song Weird Sounding Break Up Song
It sounds like old-school metal, vocals sounded like Mustaine and catchy but heartbreaking lyrics
We are pitchie-pitchie-wow-wow from the dark shades of Balanga City, Bataan. Despite of unending lineup changes (sessionist, substitutes, etc.), it achieved its stable lineup last december 2006 as three-piece. PPWW consists of Janus Gregorio (guitar), Francis Flores (bass/vocals) and Edu Triguero (drums).
Band/artist history
It was formed by Janus Gregorio when he was in fourth year high school. He got Edu (drummer) thru his classmate who is Edu's older brother. They played Bamboo covers when they starting out. Then, they evolved. Janus assembled a metal-rocking lineup (what?) when he entered college. Kiko joined on July '05 with a fact of not having a bassist that has stage presence. Then, lot of musical styles discussed, tried and played, lot of lineup changes, and lot of schedules moved. Then, we are a quartet, a quintet, a sextet, and now a trio with Kiko handling double duty as vocalist and bassist. This three-piece lineup brought them joy on BOTBs in Bataan as they won the contests.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
Yes, Battle of the Bands competitions, parties, and gigs in Bataan. We always considered IEA ACQUAINTANCE PARTY '06 our best memorable gig because of the people who support us. Their gift to us: MOSHPIT!
Your musical influences
Varied but more on metal due mainly to the members' varied tastes in their music. We don't know what genre we belong so we put Alternative Metal instead.
What equipment do you use?
Ibanez S470, Blazer, GSR180, Zoom effects, Zildjian sticks, (Zildjian cymbals, Trak drums) we record only drums in a studio in Samal, Bataan. Then, we recorded guitar, bass and vocals on a computer via line in and webcam mic. hehehehehe
mind, heart, sweat, tears, imagination, humility, respect and dedication
Anything else?
Kiko kept saying he is a temporary lead singer but full-time bass player. "It's really hard handling double duty. I think it's fine when you play guitar and sing. You can't go off-tuned often times because of the chords. I think it's also fine when you're a vocalist/bassist in a death metal band (eg. David Vincent, Glen Benton, Tom Araya). In handling bass while singing, it's really a hell. I play bass notes more often than play chords. We wish one day we can find of great lead singer who can really express their stage presence more raw than others we put as our vocalist."
