JONEE AKIRE BIO: Erika Jonee Moore was born on April 21, 1987, in Brookdale Hospital. Erika was born & raised in the Brownsville section of Brooklyn, NY. As a baby she started watching music video's & paying close attention to talk show host Arseno Hall and artist such as M. C. Hammer, Michael Jackson & Whitney Houston. Her 1st time actually picking up the mic was at the age of three. In the 1st grade at age five, she began to write songs & poems. In elementary school before she realized the amount of money that her writing was worth she sold her songs and poems to classmates, teachers, & people that lived within her area so that she'd have money for snacks, school, or whatever she needed. Even though she had the talent to sing she never really let it be known to people that she wasn't familiar with because she was very shy. At the age of 12, at her Junior High school (I.S 55) she met a band instructor whose name was Mr. Constant. He inspired her to overcome her fears of singing in front of people. Erika then became very active in the school band & poetry contests. At age 14, Erika started to meet people who desired music just as well as she did. She then began to write more & more songs & started to copyright them. At 14, she recorded for the 1st time, and then started to find herself as an artist. She now goes by the name of Jonee Akire. She is now on the sight of Hush Hush Records & is trying her best to be heard. So please listen...........& write comments........... Thank you Jonee Akire
