Your musical influences
I call it lushy mushy instrumental music with a little emotion. Electronic with strings and piano sound but no percussion - non jazz.
Any music can be ambient but I'm trying to write songs you feel like listening to- no endless repetition or floating ethereal fog that sounds pretty but goes nowhere.
I dislike the term "new age" as a category title; I'd prefer "mood music".What equipment do you use?
Right now I am writing with Sibelius 2. Adequate at best for my purposes but I'm drooling over the latest version.Anything else?
