The music project AbaNDa SHAKE is a team that consists of authors, performers, music & visual producers, executive producers, self-publishers and self-promoters Natali Dali & Dimitris Krist in Ukraine.
AbaNDa SHAKE is currently open for partners, sponsors and investors willing to help maintain and develop the project, including organizing a live concert program for performing & touring domestically and internationally, as well as promoting the project on TV and radio.
Dimitris Krist is an experienced professional musician, arranger, composer, and a multi-instrumentalist. He is responsible for the project's finished sound production - recording, editing, arranging, progging, mixing and mastering. Natali Dali composes melodies, writes lyrics and contributes to sound editing, arranging, final music production, as well as is occupied with visual production: concepts, styles, artwork design, videos.
Dimitris finished music school and graduated from music college in Nikolayev, Ukraine. For several years he worked as a musician in the army orchestra and in a state philharmonic live band, traveling throughout the former USSR at that time. Later, he taught music arrangement at a music college and is currently a consultant for the largest music instrument retailers throughout Ukraine.
Natali finished music school, art school, and art college in Nikolayev, graduating from state university in Odessa as a specialist of English philology with honours. She has worked as an interpreter & translator for large corporations and given English lectures to adults. However, her passion for writing music began as a young teenager and continues at this time.
Natali and Dimitris have collaborated as songwriters (writing and producing) at their audio studio DINAMIX for about 7 years before starting on the project "AbaNDa SHAKE". They have produced many works of various styles and genres primarily songs for different musicians and projects as well as instrumental tracks and commercials. As a successful team, they have written melodies, lyrics, arrangements, recorded, edited, mixed and mastered. Thus, they have collaborated in many of Ukrainian and international music acts, as well as being credited with many more musical accomplishishments. Of course, simultaneously, they have composed their own songs as well.
After Nat & Dim recorded their first song in English - "Shake" - they invented the name for their new project - AbaNDa SHAKE - creating their artistic pseudonyms Natali Dali & Dimitris Krist that corresponded to the international character of their music that they themselves call global intel pop - music that is easily understood by anyone throughout the world.
The first songs Shake, Cat and Shake RMX and the videoclips for these songs conquered the air of Ukrainian territory. Shake RMX and Cat for 4 months maintained the highest ratings in the chart of Europa FM radio and reached the number one and number four positions respectively, the videoclips were in constant rotation on the national music television channels for 3 months and reached the number one position on M1 and TET, and also entered the charts on the Maks TV channel in the United States. The songs are regularly played on radios and podcasts worldwide Golden Town Sweden; Rodon FM Greece; Radio Quartz Belgium; Radio Moskva Russia; Radio Eska Poland; Radio M1 Lithuania; RadioFusion Spain; Radio One United Kingdom; Radio Utopie Germany; and many others in: Netherlands, Norway, France, Italy, etc. AbaNDa SHAKE music is often used commercially for fashion and entertainment shows, such as the Ukrainian Fashion Week.
They are mastering the video production expanding their technical facilities and now possess a film production studio - DINAVID. The videos for Cat and Shake (RMX) were self-produced, including production and post-production. The videos maintain air dominance throughout many Ukrainian TV channels and are also in hot rotation on Maks TV in the USA.
AbaNDa SHAKE's songs and videos were published in numerous international compilations on CDs and DVDs: World Best Pop'N'Hits, Europa Top Pop, Euro Sound, Uni Box, Bravo, Mademoiselle, Spicy, Kidz Hitz Winter, Everybody Dance Now Spring, Summer Hits, Autumn Dance, Top 100, Ukrainian Top Club Sounds, etc.
Under their own label "DINAHIT MUSIC" AbaNDa SHAKE recorded and published their 1st album "SHAKE" of 10 original songs and 4 remixes, the official release of which took place on June, 1, 2009 in digital format on iTunes and Amazon. Later in 2009 on December 24 they released the 1st physical DigiPak version of the album, with 10 original tracks, 2 remixes and the videoclip "Cat" on board. On March 23, 2010 the 2nd physical jewel case version of the same album was released under the label "MOON Records UA" for the territory of CIS & Baltics.

We, Natali Dali (Natalia Antonova - born 26.01.1972) & Dimitris Krist (Dmytro Iliashenko - born 01.09.1961) currently in Kyyiv, Ukraine, the two and only authors and producers of AbaNDa SHAKE, in case we lose partially or completely our healths or lives, or are considered missing, do not allow anyone to re-produce (re-sing or re-make) AbaNDa SHAKE's songs in any manner; we only permit to play our songs the way they originally are, i.e. performed and recorded by us, Natali Dali & Dimitris Krist, with the credits provided.
Despite the long-term manifestations of hate, disrespect, slander and indifference by certain individuals and groups, disguised and framed up, towards our personalities and music projects - our being ignored, hounded, banned and blacklisted - we still want the good kind-hearted people of the Earth and any sensitive creatures of the Universe to enjoy our music, the way it is meant to be used, bringing the world: PEACE! Here's a short story about how AbaNDa SHAKE produced the video "Cat":
The main idea of the song "Cat" (and the clip) is that in every woman there live three different "cats" - three natures: black, red and white. These three different characters are not enemies, they are friends who feel at ease together and are very well dwelling side by side. These "cats" love to play different games and one of them is "dog" chess ("dogs" are men, of course! ;) But! There is always one very important "dog" in the "cat's" life - one man who is the master of the woman's world!) Natali and Dimitris first thought of the plot - they developed it from the idea of their song "Cat". Natali wrote the scenario and drew the storyboard. It was a very detailed scrip INVALID - a scene per each second. They had had an experience of filming some videos before and they knew that a thorough preparation was very important for a good result.
Within two weeks before the filming Nat and Dim spent three days on photo sessions in a photo studio for making the black-red-white photos for the magazine "Cat Seasons" that was to be used in the process of filming. Natali indeed changed her hair colour for each of the sessions!! Then she designed the cover and the pages, printed them out and glued together in place of the first pages of some real magazine so that it finally looked like the true magazine "Cat Seasons" that actually didn't exist! (In a very curious manner the magazine was gone after the filming - it was lost and nobody has ever seen it since that time...!)
Nat and Dim found and bought all the necessary things of entourage (dog-chess, orange-candle, music-clock, vazes, flowers, stools, a sofa, etc.) and made the decorations. Dim had a plazma-screen imitation made at an artists' shop, Nat modelled and with her own hands sewed the costumes, tailored the "dalmatian" cover for the sofa and sticked "dalmatian" moles onto the piano and laptop, etc. Initially they had planned to rent a white piano from a music salon but right on the eve of the filmimg date the piano had been sold. :)
Nat invented and rehearsed at home her Cat-dancing and choreography on the carpet...Dim trained himself to perform his Dog-dancing and movements too... :)
After that Natali and Dimitris rented a cinema pavilion with the camera, crane and light equipment and hired a group of technicians for the assistance. They spent three working shifts on filming - each day (actually night) they filmed one of Natali's black, red, and white Cat-characters on the blue rear (so that later they could remove the blue colour and combine the three images together on the white background during the postproduction) - and in the breaks they filmed the real cats, the real dog and the Dog-character - Dimitris. :)
The animals behaved awfully - they wouldn't at all do what they had to! :) The cats got scared and went crazy - they didn't want to sit calm when it was necessary and they were very reluctant to move when they were asked! :)) Right on the filming start Nat and Dim faced the fact that in place of the black cat they got a grey!!! one because the black one had fallen ill - so they had to "paint" it in black during the postproduction... And the dog wouldn't want to jump onto the sofa without his master standing close to the sofa in the shot area and teasing him with sausages - so they also had to do a good deal of "correcting" the dog's actions later...
On having finished filming Natali together with three video engineering assistants spent three months of everyday work on postproduction including montage, editing, special effetcs, elements of 2D and 3D graphics. It was a very complicated task to combine three images in one fram INVALID - especially when they "touched" each other. But finally AbaNDa SHAKE got what they wanted. It's a great pleasure for musicians (songwriters/ arrangers/ composers) to get the video that totally reflects their vision of the atmosphere and mood of their composition, of what they were trying to convey in their song...
The airplay of the video "Cat" created two very distinctive tendencies in our country's music video production. Firstly, about twenty or thirty videos were shot using the similar colour decision: the white background and three dominant colours on it, mostly red, black and white (in AbaNDa SHAKE's video they were orange, black and white). Secondly, lots of clips became funny, using the "silly" characters in them (though clip making seemed to have been rather "serious" before). And, finally, a lot of ideas and elements were simply "stolen" and reused! :)) Doesn't it all mean we've made a trendy product?! ;)) You can come to conclusions yourselves...
