Billy is a singer songwriter and producer who grew up in a musical family in Ravensmead, Cape Town. Music was always a part of the Paulson householdBand/artist history
Billy's s music is not only confined to stages and churches, but, schools, prisons, hospitals and street corners. He has travelled the Far East, Europe, USA and New Zealand. He composed songs for other well-known artists nationally and internationally. In 1974 he composed his first song called "She's gone" and his second in 1976 named "Stop the rain". A year later, after his conversion, he started singing in churches and other musical events. His song "Step by Step" became an instant success on both Secular and Gospel charts in 1984. His music is recorded and being performed by various top artists both locally and internationally. He is perhaps more known for his hit song "Môre sal die son weer Skyn" and "Step by Step".Have you performed in front of an audience?I use trax and where possible as the need arises I use a live band
