Hardcore Rap

Motivated to make real music from the ruff neighborhoods of West Oakland, Side Industry arose to establish a presence non-existent in the recording industry. In "1996" the group of young performers Lee Majors, Ramdog, and Reazon combined to create a triple threat combination mixing their lyrics & voice of the intercity with music production for the radio, clubs, and the streets, as well as becoming their own financial executives. Having their own record company and selling their own records shows their ability to accomplish goals. Originally inspired by artists like Too Short, Dru Down, E-40, and the Luniz, Side Industry worked hard around the clock and released two albums "Everyday Life" & "Land Of Sickness" independently, which has established a very strong fan base and produced over 15,000 in record sales. Side Industry flexed its promotion muscle through several compilations such as Million Dollar Dreams "Money & Muslce" & "This Is How We Lay Low", II Tight's "Represent", Black & Browns "18 Wit A Bullet", and album features with JT The Bigga Figga "Enterprise", three albums with King George, and Sca-Face Al Kapone's "Memphis To Tha Bombed Out Bay", who is currently signed to E-40's "Sick Wit It Records" and on many other albums and compilations that have sold in access of 85,000 copies. Receiving the lyrics they have experienced in life will show you a crystal-vision of their life style while the grooves keep your head very unstable from the bangin beats. Here in 2003, Side Industry finished recording their junior album "Knock, Knock", which will be dropped this summer. For Side Industry "Knock, Knock" is not just an album, it's a way of life. Every opportunity they've received to perform with their tremendous unmatched versatility, they left the crowd energized. Several times the event coordinator asked them back to perform more songs at either the sam show or other upcoming events. Side Industry has achieved promotional success through a large number of sold out energetic shows with well-known artists such as Cougnut (RIP), Cellski, Baldhead Ric, 11-5, Side to Side, and many, many more. With tremendous growth from the beginning, Side Industry will continue to increase its share in the market.
