At the age of 9 DJ E.$. asked his dad about how his life was when he was a club DJ . He told him that he did not care about getting famous or getting rich , he just wanted to give his heart and vibe to the crowd. That was the only thing he cared about and that's exactly what he did . When E.$. turned 12 he bumped into a local workshop and he and his friends decided to participate. That day was the turning point in his life , where he decided that spinning was something specialy made for him ... he was set on this earth to do this . A few days later he went to the local audio store and got some information about prices etc ... he and his friends ( Mastafingaz , Mindz , knowledge ) all got money together and bought 2 crappy turntables and a cheap mixer to start the neverending journey to the art of turntablism and club djing . Starting of with only 5 records and switching the turntables from place to place , 2 years later he got his own setup , and started developing his own style . At the age of 16 he started spinnin' in small local clubs in his hometown Antwerp (Zaal Jacob , Club Geluk , Obelix , Club Capital, ... ) . There he learned all the things you couldn't learn in your bedroom . then at 2004 he got his first residence in Soultrain and The Lost City. By 2006 DJ E.S. played at major clubs in Belgium like Carrà , Exharia , Club Escape , Red & Blue & Stereo Sushi. And on a international level at clubs like : G-Spot Dortmund , Rush hour ( Dusseldorf ) ,and Reflex ( keulen ) , ... All these things are just the start of his vision as an all round club dj / turntablist / producer / entrepreneur .
now after years of procrastinating he got the mpc 2500 and started making beats , and recording with many artists and producers .Have you performed in front of an audience?i play in clubs with my serato live connected to a macbook pro
