Well, i'm an aspiring hip hop artist, built around one central subject: REAL Hip Hop. I'm dedicated to it and always have been ever since I went underground. At the age of 10, I've been making graphics and started writing raps, and now i'm 16. At 12, I discovered underground artists and started to expand my ear by listening to more. While 15, during the summer my friend in my group "Trip L" (unik stylez) notified a small-time label in my city and talked to him about us. Currently, i'm in this label. That label is Block Burna Records. No matter what I do, i'm going to try and bring back real hip hop and stop all of these gimmicks and images.Band/artist history
To keep a long story short, we became a group called "Yung Wunz" at first, then changed our name to "Trip L" once our leader moved. We then were a 3 man group and notified "Block Burna Records" and got in. We're on a low budget, but the stuff we're working with sounds alright.Have you performed in front of an audience?I'd LIKE to play live, and we might start to play live soon enough. We might go live at maybe the Sovereign Center, clubs, etc.
Your musical influences
I have many influences. The underground hip hop movement, alternative rock helped me, r&b, etc. People say I sound like Saigon and Nas, but with an underground style. Guitars, violins, and piano's are the instruments I prefer most in an instrumental.What equipment do you use?
