Tycin began singing at the tender age of 9 years old. Her singing was inspired by her mother who is a trained singer. Tycin was a very unique child who wrote songs and listened to her favorite artists which are: Yolanda Adams,CeCe Winans, and Maurette Clark Brown. While children played outside, Tycin sang and wrote songs, under the anointing of the Holy Spirit, that lifted spirits during the darker times in her life. Tycin continued to sing songs of triumph and of God's everlasting love throughout her mother's illnesses of cancer, asthma, and congested heart failure. Tycin learned the importance of faith in God through her parents Dan and Joan Williams. Thankfully today, Tycin is able to share the same dream that her mother had which was to be a gospel artist but due to poverty she was unable to support her ministry. Tycin's mother has been healed from all of her illnesses and that is the very reason why Tycin shares the new single entitled: "I OWE YOU ME". Tycin shares with unbelievers how God never gave up on her and how she can't give up on others who don't know Jesus Christ. Through song,Tycin shares with believers how important God is and how we have to strive to do better daily.
No, I have a musician named Jerome Coleman who has become part of my family. We rehearse all night sometimes and God comes in and we have our own revival. I remember rehearsing while in college at the University of Southern Mississippi and people stopped by asking if church was going on and it was just the two of us rehearsing. lol
