Heartfelt Gospel Ministries consists of Monica and Stacy Sweet. Monica and Stacy have been singing together for about 5 yrs . Several years ago Monica and Stacy were known as Soldiers Of The Cross. Out in Georgia, they ministered in nursing homes, churches, revivals, homecomings, and one very special place to them called Christian City. Christian City is in Union City, Ga. right outside of Atlanta. At the time they had a homeless shelter, orphanage, nursing home, alzheimers unit, on campus chapel, and several other units. These people touched there hearts in such an amazing way that they have never been able to forget them and hope one day to get back to see them.
When Monica and Stacy made the decison to move back to Mississippi they left Soldiers Of The Cross behind. A few months after being in Mississippi, they started singing again and formed Heartfelt . Heartfelt actually started out as a quartet but the other two members felt led to do different things and quit singing.. We wish them well on there journeys. So now Monica and Stacy are back to a duet as they started. But instead of becoming discouraged, they are excited over where God is leading them and the doors that are being opened. They will continue to move forward and let God lead the way. If its in HIS will, Heartfelt will reform into another trio or quartet.
The music you hear is a demo Monica and Stacy recorded back in 2003. They are hitting the studios now to record there first ever full length albulm and are so excited to finally be able to do this. Look for it to be available somewhere around March
Here's a little background info on Monica and Stacy. Monica is 29 yrs. old. She has been singing in front of an audience since she was 15 yrs old. She once sang with her Mother and Aunt in a group called Bound For The Promiseland. She sang with them for a little over a year. Monica also sings in her church Re-Enactment team called F2P (Faithful, Fasting, and Prayer) and can occasionally be found acting in some of the songs. Monica has a passion for helping people especially the homeless. Her dream is to one day open a homeless shelter. Monica also participated in a jail ministry in Georgia. God opened the doors for her to learn how to speak publically and she still continues to speak today in different types of situations.
Stacy is 30 yrs old. Stacy has also been singing in groups since he was 17. They did a little bit of traveling and sang in many different places. Stacy also sings in the Re-Enactment team at there church. Since he is usually singing lead, he doesnt act to often. Stacy accepted the call to preach a little over a year ago. Since then his goal is to preach the gospel as often as the Lord will allow him to. He is passionate about helping others, especially teenagers. He is an awesome prayer partner and study partner. He also loves anything to do with sports, computers, and music.
Monica and Stacy have been married for 9 yrs now and have 3 children (Kaleb 9, Joshua 7, and Kiera 5) who are also taking the stage singing for the Lord. Who knows, maybe the Lord is opening the door for them to one day share the stage with Momma and Daddy!! They are all excited and ready to do the Lords work wherever He takes them.Have you performed in front of an audience?Right now we sing from soundtracks, but we do sing live. We will sing wherever we get invited but our charge is due to location. We live in Mississippi so anyone fairly local to us would be a love-offering only deal. Arrangements would have to be considered for further locations, but God does provide.

I love GOSPEL of all sorts but major influences are like the Crabb Family, Talley Trio and such... mostly southern gospelWhat equipment do you use?
Right now I have a Kuston 4 channel mixer with 2 Kustom Speakers. My wife and I use cordless audio technica t222 series microphones. I have recently bought a fender stratocaster electric guitar with a crate amp and also a set of drums for my son to learn... I will learn the guitar. My oldest son plays the harmonica and daughter wants to learn the piano.Anything else?
