The Jumpsters are a band that covers a lot of bases- full tilt boogie to stripped down delta blues and all stops along the way.
At the heart of the band is the guitar/vox and harmonica partnership of Lewis Cohen and Joe MacNeil. Playing acoutically together as a duo, they evoke sounds from the delta, and with the full band harmonica and guitar lines duel and meld togther so that at times you'd swear you were listing to a full horn section.
Driving rhythms come courtesy of Robin Humphreys on bass and Kevin Oaten on drums, and Mike Wesson sprinkles his cool piano, hammond and rhodes sounds into the mix to great effect.
