Arok is an emcee who lives in Canberra, Australia. For over four years he performed with Canberra HipHop crew, Metaphysical Combat. The crew performed all along the South-East coast of Australia, focusing on the Canberra region. They performed at Black Stump music festival, the Great Hall in Parliament House, the Charny Carny, Revolution in Sydney and heaps of schools, clubs and community events. In mid 2006 Arok and BRB from the crew did a Europe tour, focusing most of their time in Russia where they performed in youth camps for underprivileged youth and orphans, and in Helsinki, FInland.
Arok appears on most songs of the crew's debut EP, We're Metaphysical which was released in January 2005. Some songs include, Freestyle Bust, Some Soldiers, We're Metaphysical, and the popular testimonial track, the Light.
Metaphysical Combat may have been what kick-started and show cased Arok's lyrical skills, but he is a talented emcee in his own right. Arok creates original raps and beats, and is a fine party rocking DJ nowadays. His raps have heart and soul, convey a message, and tell a story that'll move your soul and get your head nodding.
