That first track was really wicked. dope. It's like an opening single for the return of some powerful lyrical mc who went missing for some years.
My approach is similar to yours -"Music Focused on Melody, composition and Feel, not Just a Deep Bassline and drums."
Although I'm not that technically skilled yet, it's instrumentals like that first beat that inspire me further.
