Psychedelic Rock

The Baier Cellar Band is: John Baier...electric guitar Kristin Baier...keys and vocals Dave Downing...bass and vocals Craig Kight...drums Dan Noonen...electric guitar and vocals Tom Noonen...acoustic guitar and vocals Born of countless basement music appreciation jam sessions, the Baier Cellar Band formed in the Baier's Cellar in 1989, and grew to its current state of 6 members by the time we played our first gig in public in 2000. We were friends before we played music together, and the music has given us something to bring us together forever...the love of playing our own music.
Band/artist history
Our first gig was in Oct. 2000...we've played sporadically since then at places including Nelsons Ledges Quarry Park, Flappers Bar and Grill, and various benefit concerts...Our bass player, Dave Downing, used to play in a great band from Cleveland in the 80's and 90's called Oroboros... We're in this for fun and stress release...
Have you performed in front of an audience?
We've played about 15-20 gigs since 2000...I'm a relentless touring task master...Everybody has other things in life that take up the majority of the hours in a day, but we get out when we can... We have primarily played in Central Ohio, but for one million dollars, we will play anywhere in the world...
Your musical influences
Grateful Dead...that's the primary source of inspiration for making music...We have all experienced so much joy in going to shows and listening to them do their thing that we wanted to get together and do our own thing and see what happened...It's been quite a bit of fun... Other Classic 60's, 70's and a few of todays jambands thrown in for good measure...
