THE AL LOVE EXPERIENCE
w/ special guest, Garage Garbage
The Al Love Experience and Garage Garbage have recently
teamed up to provide you the latest and the greatest in
schizophrenic sonic experience.
The "Love Experience" is all about offering profound inquiries into the nature of sound, tossed with a healing doses of deep meaningful lyrical sentiments. Their music is excellent for quiet, meditative listening, with or w/out headphones.
"Garbage," on the other hand, likes to just lay some shit down and serve it up to you fresh, and it don't matter whether it's in good or bad taste (their motto is, "de gustibus non disputatam est"). Their music is great with a Scoobie doobie, and that's about it really.
Interested in the "Experience"?
Listen to "Heart Blossom," "Inner Sunshine Raga," and "Heart Sunrise Meditation."
For more of a rock/pop sound:
Listen to "SunSmile," "Always," and "When the Spirit is Gone," if nothing else.

Band/artist history
i've been singing from before i can remember. First instrument, trumpet, 7 years. At 11, switched to guitar because something deep inside of me resonated more with it than the trumpet. Maybe i knew that it would be hard to sing and play the trumpet at the same time! (Digging a bit deeper: The electric guitar is more of a vehicle for psychic transformation.) But it was years before i had the courage to sing, not to mention write my own material. Actually, quit the guitar for 4 of my teenage years -- could have actually learned the thing, but it's all good . Looking back now, can't help watching in wonder and go, "Gee, you've come a long way, baby," and "What a long, strange trip it's been!"
Have you performed in front of an audience?

Your musical influences
Most of my music is guitar-based. My biggest influences were the great rock guitar gods. My favorites are Duane Allman and Dickey Betts, Jimi, Jeff Beck, Garcia and the Dead, and more recently, Sly and the Family Stone. I also was heavily influenced by the Doors. I tend towards Classic Rock, in general, though being Aquarius, I've always been interested in being Experimental and mixing genres. I've also been heavily influenced by folk music, and enjoy all kinds of music, gone through a number of different stages, as we all do.
What equipment do you use?
Takamine and Gibson Les Paul.
Anything else?
So much to say, so little time!
