Ice Willie was born in New Orleans, moved to Jackson, MS at 13, and been in love wit rap since da first time he heard it. Growing up in the Big Easy and Jacktown, Bounce Music, No Limit, and Cash Money is what I grew up on, but when I got a hold of some Jay-Z, DMX, Cam, and AND1 mixtapes back in junior high, I fell in love wit da lyricism and sampled style beats the producers used. Once I figured out the names of these producers, I researched their equipment and methods, and began to teach myself the up north method of making beats.
