Moonburn evolved as a solo project from an earlier band called Europa, back in 1998.
Europa were more Hi NRG mid 90's Euro. Think Culture Beat, Radiorama, Ice MC. And then add some cheese. Moonburn, although still keeping a pop sound, moves more into the "club" music forte, and more credible style's of euro tinged dance and trance, oh and some happy hardcore too.
Having said this, I have been producing dance music on a personal level since about 1993, with crude sampling packages, an Amiga, Octamed and Protracker. The least said about that, the better though. I still listen to some of those early tunes and get real inspiration from riffs and beats in them though (which is a bit sad really, considering I was probably about 14 when I wrote some of them lol).Have you performed in front of an audience?We have done live gigs in the past under the "Europa" project, which got us into the Search For a Star 1999 finals.
The current type of music Moonburn puts out does not really lend itself to "gig" like scenarios - however - who knows in the future? We've just written a euro NRG/trance track which we're looking for a decent vocalist on. May upload the instrumental on here and if anyone thinks they could fill the singing spot, get in touch!

A Roland XP50 synth with Dance expansion card, Cubase VST, Soundforge, a Fostex X-24 Multitracker, and PC with Cubase and Nero Wave EditorAnything else?
We currently have loads of tunes available ranging from commercial trance through to more chilled out, and even German techno / rave type tracks.
