Hello there! Tabula Rasa is a new Progressive Metal band from Cyprus. At the moment our songs are purely instrumental, and the band consits of a Drummer, a Keyboardist, a Bassist, an Acoustic guitarist and an Electric guitarist.

Have you performed in front of an audience?

So far we've played at a school show (600 people), and at a Band Competition (300). Both were unforgettable experiences. You can see the video on the or on .

Your musical influences

It's a huge melting pot! You will find traces of modern rock, like Audio Slave, some metal elements, ala Metallica, and quite a lot of influence from the progressive side, Dream Theater and Opeth. Look out for odd time signatures, catchy riffs, and some nice solos thrown in :D

What equipment do you use?

The Electric Guitarist uses: Ibanez RG350EX MESA F50 D'addario strings, Dimarzio cables Presonus Firebox for recording. Shure SM57 mic. The Drummer uses: Pearl Target Drums (new series released by Pearl) Paiste Pst3 Cymbals: 14" Hi-Hat, 14" Crash, 16" crash, 10"splash. Black Pst5 Rock 18" crash. Remo Ebony Pinstripe Skins Vic Firth and Ahead Signature and normal Sticks. The Bassist uses: Ibanez BTB 200 Ibanez SB7 Synth Pedal Zoom 506 II Bass effect pedal Washburn BD30B Bass Amp Ernie-ball strings
