Rock General

Red Light Go was originally created in 1988, when Four Musicians from previous Australian Bands decided to have a 'Jam' session. The recordings made at the Jam were so well recieved that the four, Terri, Virginia,John & Rod decided to continue, writing a song at every 'Jam'.The recordings had so much 'feel' that John, being already a producer, composer decided to put the recordings out, using his own studio, which at the time was very basic.
Band/artist history
The band was created in 1988,Consisting Terri broun(Vocals)Peter Quince(Drums)Virginia Castellain(Bass)and husband John. The first album 'Staring At The Moon'was released in 1989 and did well on Australian Radio, especially the title track,'Staring At The Moon!.Another album was recorded with second vocalist Kellie Fleeton. And later recordings saw the band move away from the earlier funk/Pop/rock genres into more progressive rock/pop genres.another vocalist,Kelly Eastgate fronted the final line up, which toured extensively and finally broke up after Musical differences led to members pursuing their own projects. around 1994.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
Up until 1994 the band played every flea pit on the west coast of Australia. After that the band became a studio project!
Your musical influences
The band has so many favourites, but for Terri it would have to be Micheal Jackson and Level 42, Others members liked Talking Heads, Jimi hendrix, and many Funk bands.
What equipment do you use?
the normal Marshalls, Fenders ,Roland and Yamaha keyboards and Pearl drums(in the live line up)
Anything else?
