I am 20 years old, from southewest Chicago suburbia, with several years of electronic and hip-hop amateur production under my belt (not to mention MANY years of tuning into both music scenes with a finely-tuned ear). I spent the first years producing with very little musical knowledge on an online free music site. However, since coming to college, my musical background, knowledge, and skill have all come around full swing, increasing more and more each day (not to mention my ever-alert attention to media trends). Now, I produce hip-hop beats in whatever spare time I have from school, hopefully to get an album pressed soon.Have you performed in front of an audience?I played with several bands over the years and spun at clubs. Helpful compliments and packed crowds were all the moments I ever needed--just getting my music out there to the masses. Listenership is the most important aspect of my music-making experience. I just wanted to be heard.
