My band is very small. My friend Rob Robinson played the organ and programed the drum machine. The rest is me.Have you performed in front of an audience?Mostly around the house. Once in a while at the Felda Community Center with the Felda Elders and I've played at a couple of songwriters nights over in the Ft. Myers area. I'd like to play live more often.
Your musical influences
Just about every big name in rock or country has influenced me to some degree. Beatles, Stones, Zepplin, Skynyrd. More recently, I would say Lyle Lovett, Steve Earle, John Prine, Jerry Jeff Walker, Ricky Skaggs, Doc Watson, Willie Nelson, Merle Haggard, et. al.What equipment do you use?
I have a Korean Breedlove acoustic that I bought on E-bay, an old Goya 12 string that I converted into a dobro and a cheap mexican mandolin. My son loans me his Fender Jazz bass and he has a couple of electrics I'll be borrowing in the future.Anything else?
Yeah. The music business is a cruel and shallow money trench, a long plastic hallway where thieves and pimps run free and good men die like dogs. There's also a negative side. Hunter S. Thompson
