In today's society where drugs and violence are destroying the youth and sexual exploitation is a growing epidemic, the need for a more positive progression is evident. Hip-Hop's current state has left a negative impact on the culture at large and is making it increasingly difficult for individuals to find THEMSELVES amongst a mirage of so- called mentors and role models...

Poetry was the corner stone to my temple of hip-hop, at 9 having moved around state to state as a youngster, I came across poetry in fourth grade livin with my Pops in Northern Cali, Straight outa tha cutz...he had a Rock band, BlackFoot Dutch, so I was pretty muched raised in a studio...soakin game....introduced to The Doors, Hendrix, Pink Floyd, Chilli Peppers, Nine Ince Nails, erythang .... My cuddie and I would post up in my room while he was recording and shit, 11 yrs old, and blast our 2Pac, Bone Thugs, Biggie, TLC, Naz, Jay-Z, Ice Cube all that 96' shit...it was around this time I had got my first beat machine, a Roland MC-307 GrooveBox, then the revelation, Raps poetry in motion, so we'd get together in my pops studio and mess around... Havin been thru tha trenches and back, lifes left me in an ephipic state, the posibilities of a mental movement thru music, focusing on tha wisdom gained thru trials and tribulations...
