Hi there...just listened to Devil Woman and was intrigued and by the looks of your message board, I better take a listen to some more of your tunes. I really love your sounda and your voice, funky and unique on Devil Woman. Goodluck with your music and continue to have fun with it, that's where I live at! :)
Would be cool if you get time to check out a few of my tunes, I'm totally acoustic and mellow. Take care and keep on keepin' on!

Tonight is a great song that is powerful as well as ear-grabbing. Wondering if you could check out my two sites for music and spread the word about them, www.purevolume.com/jimgaven and http://www.soundclick.com/bands/2/jimgaven.htm . Thanks once again. Hope to hear from you soon.

Kevin … thanks for additional info.. I did notice you were at #8 after my post and that’s really do’in well. Hope you keep climbing. I think my best in a main category was breaking into the top 100. I find that “A Part of You” has that special quality … I find myself humming or singing it long after I’ve logged off. Most songs don’t do that for me and I’m not exactly sure what it is about your song but it’s got it. I’ll check out those other links. I’m new to this message board thing so clue me in to some Message Board Etiquette … Kevin or anyone else … do you answer folks in the same board or do you respond to them in their own board?

Kevin … thanks for come back. Lyrics to “Tonight” are posted. I don’t know whether your question about a story behind “Watch’in You” was a pun or not but the lyrics just pop’d up after reading an article about possible privacy issues with parents tracking their kids through their cell phones.
I hope to get to the rest of your toons soon … but right now time is my enemy … hope that will change before long. Yes the Ray Davies thing was definitely a compliment!
Actually I had a song that got to #1 last summer “Devil Woman” in the Folk Rock category. It lasted for a week … that was fun … you can listen to it on a compilation CD with a lot of other really good artists at http://store.mixonic.com/zoetrope
