Ray Victory
Ray Victory, was born on October 8, 1979 on the Westside of Baltimore City. His upbringing in the Park Heights community in what has become one of the United States most deadly cities has given him the survival skills which have allowed him to endure the trials of life and the music industry to become a dynamic artist, who today stands on the brink of stardom.
Like all stars that exist in the sky merely as gas in space waiting to burst into a beam of light, Rays past began with a demure beginning. At the age of 10, he picked up his pen and took to writing short poems about the colorful imagery and pain he witnessed in his community. Rays poems soon became the lyrics of Ray Victorys verses. While perfecting the craft that would allow him to convey his thoughts on community struggle and urban romance, Ray teamed up with some high school comrades to form a group called Fam-Stone. The group worked hard to assert themselves in the music industry; releasing and selling CDs throughout Baltimore.
B-Rich was the first member of the group to come out the basement, earning accolades with his hit single Whoa Now. Ray Victory is now looking to build upon his group mates achievement and take Baltimore Hip-Hop to a new level. Ray has already seen his star begin to glimmer as he has enjoyed success from Baltimore to Miami with his first single Work It, which built strong relationships that has led to collaborations with artist such as Hennessy out of Miamis Southside Bombers and Virginias Trey Songz, is now signed to Atlantic Records. With new songs in the works such as Hey Girl, The Collage featuring Skarr Akbar and Boggie, and Same Shit, Ray is invigorated ready to top himself as he continues his journey shooting across the hip-hop skyline.
As Ray Victory continues to emerge from the darkness of the hip-hop abyss and make his dreams come true, all eyes should remain on the man set to lead the rap renaissance. Continuing his trend of illuminating the streets with his smooth flows, Ray Victory had great success with his latest mix tape Ready 2 Go, and is now working on his next mixed tape, The Takeover Pt. 2, featuring WPGC 95.5s Half-Man Half Amazing Dj Reddz. Combining the lyrical prowess and artistry of his biggest rap influences such as: Big Daddy Kane, Run DMC, Pete Rock and CL Smooth, Gangstarr, Jay-Z, Nas, and Biggie Smalls, Ray Victory is the next great constellation, and He will be VICTORIOUS.
