Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
'The Sluice Box' began when Pynner and Kerr found each other on Craig's List, while searching for people to jam with. Needing a bass-player, Pynner asked a work-mate who was also a musician if he was interested in joining the fun. So they got together, jammed out some classic-rock tunes, and noticed they had an undeniable chemistry that had to be utilized. They played around for a while striving for perfection as a classic-rock-cover-band, and even had keyboard player 'Rockin' Ronny' play with them for a short period. When Ron quit, they decided it was a good time to change everything. They then became a new-rock band, and Tyler decided he wanted to play his stronger instrument, guitar. It wasn't long before they had a bass player: Kerr met one at a party who was interested, Brad. They searched for a singer for a short time, when before long, they realized that they already had a great one among them, Brad. Along with lyrics and bass, Brad also braught with him a name, and finally the band had an identity...THE SLUICE BOX
