Pumping out of the heart of Tallahassee, Zire bleeds the melodic harmonies the industry has been starving for. Sensing extraordinary opportunities, four of Leon County’s most creative individuals come together to build a musical dynasty. The dusty paths that led them in the past eventually merged together paving a highway of harmonious rhythm. Erupting out of Florida’s capital, the new melting pot of rock music, Zire plans to keep its roots planted while growing toward the sky. “It’s the best way there is to see the world, but I never forget where it all got started” responded Joel from a recent interview. The band is instilled with a loyal commitment to giving back to the ones that gave them a chance in the beginning. Often pressured by corporate bigwigs Zire will not budge from their positions of creative freedom. “I believe our fans respect us because we play what we like, not what we think they will like”, says Eric.
The uttermost differences within the four are the force that thrust the generative ideas out into the open. Throughout Zire there is no one common life philosophy, religious, or political belief. “I love that my ideas are challenged by my band mates. It makes me think through my beliefs building a stronger structure of my life philosophy” remarks John. Songs blended collectively from all different backgrounds ignite from the innate ability of all four songs writers, not one. “I’ve never been in a band before where I didn’t have to write all the songs. It really keeps things from getting stagnant” replies Link. With no signs of decelerating, Zire continues to level any barriers in the way of their goals and aspirations.

We just want to give a very, special thanks to everyone at X101.5 WXSR TALLAHASSEE, especially Chilly Pepper and Meathead, for all there support in Tallahassee’s rock scene. After all the local bands of today are the future rock stars of tomorrow. You both have been a GREAT inspiration to the whole band and kept our spirits high as we have been down the rough road of making our dreams come true.
