WHO? WHO?
PROJECT: PLAN B is a male Hip-Pop/R&B group which consists of three teenagers. Andre A.J. Fequiere is 17 years old, Antoine T.C. Lundy, also 17 years old and Eric E-Touch Woodruff is 16 years old. While the three were born in New York City, they coincidently met and formed their group under a year ago in the suburb mountains of Northeastern Pennsylvania called the Poconos. Their families traded the city life for the common reason of a better living environment as an attempt to escape the rapid growth of gang activities.
A.J. is no stranger to the world of entertainment. His father is Hip-Hop Icon/Legendary Music Producer Kangol Kid from the mid 80s rap group UTFO (Roxanne, Roxanne, Ya Cold Wanna Be Wit Me). Following in his dads footsteps, at the early age of four, A.J. and his older brother T.Shaun appeared and performed on New Yorks local television show Video Music Box with Host Ralph McDaniels as members of the singing group Under 18. A.J. says, Becoming an entertainer is not something Im trying to do. It is something that Ive been doing for over 13 years. They later appeared nationally in Black Beat Magazine and TVs Its Showtime at the Apollo.
T.C. singing genes are linked to his legendary dad, the late TCD of mid 80s R&B group FORCE MDs (Tender Love, Tears). When you combine the experience of my Force MDs uncles with SoundStorms success rate, you cant fail with is Dream Team says T.C. As T.C. developed his vocal abilities he captured the attention of multi-talented rap superstar Missy Elliot. Though their project was never completed, that did not discourage this up and coming talent.
E-Touch is the groups athlete. As a track star, gymnast, martial artist and football player, his celebrity genes are naturally linked to his grandfather, footballs great Bob Woodruff (Linebacker for Baltimore Colts). I love to compete and more so, I love to win says Eric. Es baritone vocal is a rare yet complimentary contribution to the group. As the youngest member, he possesses the deepest vocals.
In the fall of 2004, A.J. and his older brother T.Shaun formed a teenage operated entertainment company called SOUNDSTORM ACADEMY. The success of the company captured the attention of the Black Entertainment Television Network (BET). After making an appearance on BETs The Center, A.J. and T.Shaun were recognized as the nations youngest entertainment executives. That appearance included A.J.s former singing group (referred to by SoundStorm as Plan A). Shortly after that appearance, Plan A grew impatient and dissatisfied with A.J.s leadership and later terminated him and his older brothers guidance.
By this time, A.J.s desire to be a performer had diminished until BET 106 & Parks Wild Out Wednesday (W.O.W.) creator Pat Charles called SoundStorm and requested an appearance from their R&B group to participate in a televised talent competition. With no such group currently under the umbrella, SoundStorm accepted the BET request and formed what is known today as Project: Plan B.
With only two months to prepare, 19 year old SoundStorm Academy President T.Shaun recruited T.C. and E-Touch as new members, negotiated product endorsement deals with SouthPole/LOT 29 Clothing and 310 Footwear, assembled a music production team which included a vocal coach and arranger and later a choreographer. Two months later, Project: Plan B won the semi-finals and later won the championship as BET W.O.W. 2006 Best Male R&B Performance.
Shortly after their win, Project: Plan B opened for artist such as: Marques Houston, Omarion, Nick Cannon, Sammie, Black Buddafly and more. They are also the official spokesmodels for Pennsylvanias In Your Reach Recycle Campaign, starring in their own local television show called In Da Studio and are scheduled to appear in XXLs Hip-Hop Soul Magazine. PPB also teamed up with Bow Wows female rapper Miss Nana for a Myspace single release entitled WHO? while recording their first single Get To Know You featuring Rocafella recording artist Peedi Crack.
Currently, SoundStorm Academy is in post-production with Project: Plan Bs BET On BLAST proposed reality TV show currently titled Move To Plan B. The show stems from their short film series Chapters I and II (directed by SoundStorms Teenage Film Director Bob Ronin) which can be viewed online at www.myspace.com/projectplanb. Chapter III will be released on DVD along with Chapter I and II late spring 2007.
Remember: When All Fails . . . Move To Plan B.
