Heavy Metal

The men from Gherry@trix were hatched from Ostrich Eggs. That is why they all have misshaped heads. But in return for that they were blessed down lower... James's bass roots came from the band Mortal Immunity were his technical playing style evolved into one of carrying the whole rhythm section.. Feezil's roots came from Jinkies, The T-shirts and other bands of notoriety... His drumming style is jazzy, laid back, then in your face. Kicks my ass... Keeps the music twisted. Then there's Tim mostly just a F*cken show off. If it weren't for the stupid little costumes he wears he would be nothing.... and when you mix this all together you get Psychedelic Stoner Trance Metal
Band/artist history
gherry@Trix was established January 2005 by Tim Ray, Hank Hirzel, and Jim McCafferty. First considered a side project by all three, gherry@Trix has become what each has been looking to do; an original project as a trio that reflected their experiences. Youre just as likely to spot the members of gherry@Trix in the crowd as you are to see them on stage. theyre fans of all music, having learned very early what it can do for the soul. The events that surround the forming of gherry@Trix are equal parts fortune and mishap. And while the band may currently lack the notoriety enough to land them on a tour, they certainly have the talents. Although it's every kid's dream to evolve from a "broom-strumming, lip-synching-to-KISS kid into a real musician, the fact of the matter is that few of us ever really have the opportunity to do it for real. Learning an instrument is daunting enough, but doing it in public with the naïve hopes of entertaining people is an invitation to dependence on psychiatric medicine. Thankfully, the members of gherry@Trix each have remaining refills on their prescriptions allowing them to converge on the Tri-State music scene.
