Your musical influences
Well on guitar itself, I love the classics (of my generation), Satriani, Vai, Yngnwie, Petrucci, and the list only gets longer. It's hard to tell that they are my influences from a lot of my playing, but there are little flares here and there which bear other peoples' signatures. I think I got my bending from Petrucci, my major scale key changes from Satch, my sweep arpegio style from Yngwie (only because I don't pick the decending patterns - I cheat like he does), and my love of modified blues scales from Paul Gilbert. Now that I look at this, I am a walking copy machine.
What equipment do you use?
Guitars - Brian Moore C907 and C90P, Ibanez 7321, Ibanez 7621, ENGL Powerball, Avatar 4x12 cab, Mesa Dual Rec 2x12 cab, and varios Boss pedals. I keepz it simple
