------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ I've always been a big fan of music, growing up listening to R&B greats such as The Temptations, Al Green, Marvin Gaye and Smokey Robinson just to name a few, my dad would play vinyl records in the house all the time, for countless hours, honestly at first I wasn't too fond of oldies, but once I learned to appreciate music I found that oldies are definitely goodies lol. I wasn't allowed to really listen to rap until I was in my early teens, I remember one of the first full albums I heard was DJ Quik's "Safe + Sound" and that was on cassette tape back in like 5th grade, had to sneak and listen to it too, but I've been a Quik fan since, you can hear it in my beats. Music was something I was always curious about, I even took a stab at learning the flute and the trumpet with no luck, I didn't have enough patience, so I pretty much gave up and creating my own music for a while, I think it was like 2001 or 2002 when my homeboy told me about Fruity Loops, I got the program from him and said to myself, self--"I'm going to figure out how to fully utilize this program", you can say I kind of know it, still not 100% though. I spent hours and hours practicing, tryna get the sound just right, with the help of keyboard of course, I'm still not quite where I want to be musically but quitting is not an option, everyday is a new day, new things to try and new things to learn, so just sit back and enjoy the ride along with me on this musical journey....
