Um.. We're checkpoint ...Band/artist history
Personally, I think writing your own band a "bio" is dumb... But.. here I go:
What is now known as "checkpoint" started in April of 2002 with Andrew Bennet on drums, Richie Ressel on bass and me, Jordan Calhoun, on vocals and guitar. Later on I asked my friend Dale Goodban to play guitar. So we we're jammin' and stuff. Making 1:30 punk songs... We never really played any shows. Eventually Dale quit and Richie had other involments in theater and a move to Carlsbad. This left "killed but not dead" to just Andrew and I. I knew a friend from church that I knew since 2nd grade and asked him to take Richies spot until he had more free time. His name was Jason Scott and he ended up staying in the band. (because we love him so much). Once Jason joined we began to play a few shows for friends and at church... etc. Jason was on the bass at the time but later on got his bass amp stolen. We took that as a "sign from above" telling us to but Jason on guitar so Jason and I switched roles. But now I'm playing guitar again and we need a bass player.
