Welcome to your new favorite band...Band/artist history
"Whats that fantastic sound," you might be thinking.....but take a good listen, because you'll want to remember the first time you heard the new alternative sensation sweeping the Oklahoma City scene!! That wonderful sound seeping from your speakers is none other than Isadore, the next band that everyone wants to know about. All home-grown kids from Norman, OK, the young adults that make up Isadore have anything but a short story of their musical talent and success...
Long ago (in spring 2002), the band saw its early start as an all-girl, all-cover band named Spoiled Rotten. This is where Jackie and Hailey first met, and first started sharing their ideas with each other. Spoiled Rotten lived a relatively short life of home-town success, and ultimately ended when the band decided to start incorporating original material into the set. It seemed as though the band was torn creatively, and three of the members ended up together with a new style and name, Anytime Soon.
Anytime Soon had a good run, and had several accomplishments to show for it. Shortly after recording a five-song demo CD in 2003, OKC Clear Channel station 94.7 The Buzz caught wind of the musical wonders of Anytime Soon, and decided to sign them on as their House Band of 2004. This entitled the young band to monthly on-air interviews, performances with nationally acclaimed bands, and frequent on-air play of their local hit song "You Frustrate Me," which remained on the station's nightly countdown for several months.
Sometime between the late summer months of 2004 and spring 2005, the band underwent major changes, including the loss of drummer Melissa Ireland, and eventually the addition of Jackie's brother, Chris, to the drum set. With a new lineup, the band decided to re-vamp the project with a new name, Wednesday.
Wednesday spent the better part of 2005 perfecting their sound and recording a new seven-song demo, to be released sometime in 2006. With a new, shiny demo on their hands, Wednesday soon sought out ways to enhance their sound. After several months of brainstorming, the group ultimately decided to add a fourth member to the line-up, Charlie. A new lineup yielded a new name, Isadore.
The new demo, soon to be unleashed, features several new songs, several not-so-new songs, and a cover we're sure you'll all recognize.
Now with a better sound and lineup than ever before, we present to you Isadore, the next thing you'll want to tell all your friends about.Have you performed in front of an audience? We've traveled around the region (Dallas, OKC, Tulsa) to play shows.
