Born Alonzo Sebastian Blalock on April 8, 1987, this 19-year-old Shreveport, LA native has always been blessed with a gift for performing arts. He is the oldest son of seven children, sibilings being Delvicceo, Dominic, Victoria, Joshua, Malcolm, and Marsalis. Raised in a single parent home by his mother, he learned to value leadership at a young age. He would later use this value to enhance his many gifts, talents, and intersts. Alonzo started singing at the age of four, but didn't experience performing on stage until second grade, while attending South Highlands Elementary Magnet School in the production "Seeds Needs." Debuting as jack Frost, Alonzo wowed the crowd with his stage presence and his ability to stay in character at such a young age. in the third grade he landed the starring role in "Monster Mash" as the Monter King and since then Alonzo has been a friend of the stage, performing at least once a year. During high school Alonzo became interested in developing his leadership skills, as it was necessary to maintain his stamina through his successes. he became involved in school organizations like Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA), 4-H, Student Council, Prom Committee, etc. He also became involved in community service organizations such as Top Teens of America and Phi Delta Kappa Kudos Brothers-both of which he later became the president of, obtaining top scholarships in local and regional levels. e graduated in the top 25% of his class as the Senior Class President, a lifetime appointment that he cherishes. He currently attends Grambling State University where he participates in the University Choir, Bladck Dynasty Modeling Troupe, Phi Beta Lambda Business Fraternity, Student Government Associaition, Favrot Student Union Board, and NAACP. He currently holds many leadership positions such as Sophomore Class President, Phi Beta lambda Executive Assistant to the President, NAACP Membership Director, Lead News Anchor for GSUNewsCenter 13, and reigns as Mr. Alpha Kappa Alpha 2006-2007. He plans to pursue a career doing ALL of the things he loves, and refuses to be limited to one pathway to success...Have you performed in front of an audience?Yes, I perform at talent shows, pageants, and other special events around northeast Louisiana. I love being on stage and mainatining control! My favorite performance was at my high homecoming game when I preformed in front of over 3,000 people for the first time...
