Akhmose Sekhem Re 26, was born in Fairfax SC and raised in Hampton SC. He has been inspired and influenced by all types of music from Hip-Hop, to Gospel, Reggae, Neo-soul, Alternative, Jazz, Classical to Native Cultural sound. He attributes the love for music from both sides of his parents, from growing up in a spiritual household through Baptist and Pentecostal soulful singing on his mothers side of the family, to the amazing riffs of his dad jamming on the lead guitar.
SEKHEM RE has a vision for, Truth, Facts, Choice, Unity, Love, Peace, Right Knowledge, Right Wisdom, Right Overstanding, and Success. He has been writing poetry since the 3rd grade and has now stepped up into the hip-hop and inspirational hip-hop scene. Since then he has developed an ear for music, skill to read sheet music, and the skill to play musical instruments, to engineer and produce music. He also writes and produces his own music, and would like to create music for other artist. He has also done a little amateur modeling and acting. The message from within and without comes forth in his writings. SEKHEM RE has the inner ability and capabilities to write spoken word poetry, and create a saga that will take music to another level, as well as be an important asset as a writer, entertainer, producer, and engineer.Your musical influences
