What is the truth? The truth is waht real people thinck, waht real people go through, what real people see, how eral peole live and how real epople have to react. EW very cleverly and greatly enables us to ee this truth throught there music as it is enhanced and a viv visual image can be made in our minds becuase of the deep lyrics, concious flows and rythamatic beats. How the group was made The group was made by to poeple formally known as Imran (Da'Truth)Khan and Ramez (R2Z2) Galderab. they began this by having an agruement over what type f handshake to do, for example imran preffered the more informal slap of the hands and half hug which was doen in the east of america and ramez preffered the more casual "spud" which was deon supposedly in parts of West america. the deicded 2 combine the handshake and called it the east west greeting and as they did it they announced the sun rises in the east and sets in the west. Soon later Ramez R2Z2 began makin beats in a home based studio nd presneted them to imran. Imran was very impressed and deicded to eam up with R2 and make a few songs, later Jayson (Ace) Beckford joined the group alongside Junior (Chinky) Lockhart-Adams. They amde a few tracks and were finding difficulty in givin the group a name. Da'Truth who was known as 2paki at the ime deicded to call the group EW beucase there was people from the west part of the wporl and people from the eat part of the world 4 example Jayson was from the carriebean and Ramez was from Egypt. How EW got sined Birdmans cousin was a radio DJ an heard about Birdmans group so therefore consulted him and told him that he was looking to a start a record label called Bass Productions the same as his entertainment group. Luke therfore informed Da'truth about this whilst he was in America and when he came back they went to there first studio session in East London and Jazpal was ver impressed therefore he decided to sign the group. Later Jaz and Da'truth thought it best that they leave the East London studio in ilford due to inconveience nd lack of good quailty aquipment and began o work alongside legendary Sunil Kulyan in West London in Southall. The members of the group At the early stages of the group there was only Da'Truth, R2Z2, J-Ace, Birdman, Chinky, and Yasmin in the group. Due to lack of dedication and other complications the group got reduced to Da'Truth, Birdman and Chinky. Once again due to lack of motivation Chinky had to be dropped from the group. Soon after Imran brought on his "Muslim bredrin" Mohammed Sajid who is now more commonly known as Moe, or Grizzly Moe. He therefore saw that Da'Truth was stuggling to find good and hard workin recruits for the "Souljaz" so he introuced imran to Tonkey and T.J. Imran was very impressed with there music talents and took them on baord and they have shown great perseverance ever since and a tremendous attitude jsut like evryone else. Also the group needed a new female vocalist because Yasmin had left the gorup due to personal reasons so King.S intruduced Da'Truth to Lucie more commonly known as Jae (Arab Diva). Also Shawn (Mousy) Hinds was asked by imran to find a Jamaican MC to add a bit of variety to the group, he introduced Da'Truth to Beanie-G a 15 year old extremly talented artist. Beanie-g was sined at his first studio appearence, he contrusted his lyrics for the verse and chorus in his head and Da'Truth was so impressed that he deided to give Beanie-G a solo track which he completed recording within 10 minutes and then we found an old freind known as matthew winston introduced by king. imran was extremely impressed by the vocal talents and didnt even bother to ask him, he was told he had become an ew soulja..Have you performed in front of an audience?WE GIG EVERYPLACE WEYRE WELCOME!!
