Sugar Baby Sugar Baby

A public domain song most associated with Doc Boggs' 1928 recording. Wes can't play like Doc so, instead, we've added new words here and there.

Pretty Polly Pretty Polly

Another traditional song this time done with some interesting instrumentation. Listen for that banjo-taisho koto duet!

Acoustic Folk

The Rubrics blur the boundaries between Appalachian traditional music, science fiction and the ""what if?"", all expressed through odd "instrumental combinations". Having wrapped up work on their soon to be released CD "Monkey Cat Blues", the band is on a much needed sabbatical in Winona Minnesota currently doing critical research for future work.
